Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Mock Draft Scores.

How often is this updated?

Every day leading up to the draft. Prospect rankings, consensus data, and community mock drafts are refreshed daily during draft season. After the draft, scores are calculated and locked permanently.

How is my mock draft scored?

We support two scoring systems. Huddle Report scoring: 1 point if the player is drafted in Round 1 (wrong team), 2 points if the player goes to the exact team you predicted — max 64 points per year. FantasyPros scoring: based on how close your predicted pick number is to the actual pick. See the full breakdown on the Scoring page.

Can I edit my mock draft after submitting?

You can edit your mock draft anytime before the NFL Draft begins. Once picks start, all submissions are locked permanently. No post-draft edits, no revisionist history.

Where does the analyst data come from?

Analyst accuracy scores come from The Huddle Report, which has tracked 100+ professional mock draft analysts since 2012. We include all 170+ analysts from their rankings.

Where does the consensus big board and team needs data come from?

Consensus big boards and team needs data come from the NFL Mock Draft Database (MDDB). We always link back to the original source.

Is Mock Draft Scores free?

Yes — completely free. No paywalls, no premium tiers, no ads. Build as many mock drafts as you want.

Can I compare my score to professional analysts?

Yes! The Leaderboard ranks your score alongside 170+ professional analysts using the same scoring system. Use the "Submission Type" filter to compare against analysts only, users only, or both.

How far back does historical data go?

Analyst scores and draft data go back to 2021. You can submit and score mock drafts for any completed year (2021–2025) plus the current year.

Who are the most accurate mock draft analysts?

According to The Huddle Report's 5-year rankings, Jason Boris of the Times News is #1 with a 48.2 average, and Josh Norris of Underdog Fantasy holds the all-time single-year record with 59 points in 2021.
