AAPI Players in the 2023 NFL Draft

The 2023 draft had no AAPI first-rounders but still saw 7 Polynesian players selected through Day 3. Tuli Tuipulotu (EDGE, USC) led the group as a second-round pick (#54 to the Chargers) β€” the 2022 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and cousin of Talanoa Hufanga.

Tongan representation was notable with 4 selections including Siaki Ika (DT, Baylor), Cameron Latu (TE, Alabama), and Viliami Fehoko (EDGE, San JosΓ© State), whose father Vai Sikahema was the first Tongan to play in the NFL. Sacramento State's Marte Mapu was a small-school standout drafted in Round 3.
