Samoan, Tongan and other Polynesian prospects on our 2027 board include Notre Dame linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa, Oregon edge rusher Matayo Uiagalelei and USC quarterback Jayden Maiava. Oregon has three AAPI players in the class — Uiagalelei, Rimington finalist center Iapani Laloulu and transfer QB Dylan Raiola.
It is a quarterback-heavy group: Maiava, Raiola, UCLA's Nico Iamaleava and Arizona's Noah Fifita (Tongan and Filipino) all carry Polynesian heritage into the 2027 cycle.
