California quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele β an Ewa Beach, Hawaii native of Samoan and Native Hawaiian descent β sits near the top of the early 2028 big board. The rest of the class's Polynesian talent is still climbing: Iowa edge rusher Iose Epenesa, Utah defensive lineman Karson Kaufusi, Oregon guard Douglas Utu and UCLA quarterback Madden Iamaleava.
BYU's Bear Bachmeier, the first Asian American starting quarterback in program history, is the most visible Asian American player in the class.
This is an early look β the 2028 board is built from only a handful of rankings and will move a lot. See the full 2028 prospects page or the 2027 AAPI prospects.
